Zach LaVine blew everyone away at the NBA dunk contest

For The Win

With all due respect to Victor Oladipo, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mason Plumlee, there was only one player in the dunk contest that had any chance of winning. From his very first dunk through to the final, 19-year-old Zach LaVine stunned the crowd inside the Barclays Center and ran away with the competition.

For his first dunk, a perfect 50, LaVine tossed the ball up to himself from the arc, soared through the air and put the ball through his leg for a reverse.

LaVine’s second dunk seemed effortless and had every NBA player in the building on their feet. LaVine caught the ball off a bounce and put it behind his back before finishing with the right hand. He seemingly never stopped rising toward the rim.
